On Saturday, June 16th, treat dad to an All-American Brass Picnic! This fun event as part of the Gettysburg Festival  will take place at the Festival Main Stage, located on the beautiful Gettysburg College campus, for a classic summertime “picnic in the park” experience. Musical performances spotlight some of the best brass groups from the mid-Atlantic region. Music and Machines at The Round Barn:
On Sunday, June 17th from 11am-3pm The Historic Round Barn & Farm Market will be hosting A Music and Machines benefit for local Marine Kyle Moser and Shining Stars Therapeutic Ministries. The event will feature pieces of machinery such as antique hit-and-miss engines, beautifully restored antique tractors, sleek antique automobiles, powerful pulling tractors and a helicopter.

No one could have asked for a nicer evening on this past Friday’s First Friday in downtown Gettysburg! I hope you had the chance to make it out to some of Gettysburg’s finest stores and restaurants to enjoy their offerings. I think it’s safe to say, warm weather is here to stay in Gettysburg!! We have been absolutely loving these past couple days. It is truly spring weather…not too hot and not too cold. Not to mention, the blossoms have now turned into lush, gorgeous foliage.
